Open Orbit
No code, no host, no waiting. Open Orbit is a public mission that runs all the time. Pick a name and you’re in the next prompt.
What it is
Open Orbit is for when you want a game right now and nobody to host it. Press OPEN ORBIT on the home screen and you are placed in a live room with other players. Missions run back to back: seven prompts, 20 seconds each, then the podium and straight on to the next one. If you arrive mid-prompt you watch that one and join from the next.

How it plays
The rules are the same as any mission (see how to play): one answer per prompt, rarer right answers fly further. A room holds up to 50 players and new rooms open as it fills. When it's quiet, a few bots keep the room going so you're never flying alone. They're clearly marked BOT and step aside as real players arrive.
Your finishing place in each mission feeds an Open Orbit rating, worked out from who you finished ahead of and behind. It shows on the leaderboard, so the regulars have something to climb. Missions also pay coins and XP like any other once you've answered three prompts.
Chat and safety
Open Orbit has a room chat beside the game. It is filtered, links aren't allowed, any message can be reported, and players who break the rules can be muted or banned. The 18+ pack is never used here. If you'd rather play only with people you know, host a private mission instead.
Tips for public rounds
With dozens of players in a room, the common answers get shared a lot, so the usual advice counts double: skip the first thing that comes to mind and look for the answer you're sure of that others won't reach. Twenty seconds is shorter than it sounds, so start typing early and use the rest of the clock to change your mind before you send. Missions are short enough to play one on a bus ride.
Who it's for
Anyone with five minutes and a phone. It's the quickest way to see what the game is like, and the best way to play when your friends are busy. For something calmer on your own, try Infiniteor today's mission.
