MENUToday’s mission
One mission a day, the same for everybody. Seven prompts, one run that counts, and a board to see how far everyone else got.
What it is
Today's mission is a shared solo mission. Every player in the world gets the same seven prompts, chosen from the clean topic packs, and they change at 00:00 GMT. Because everyone faces the same prompts, it's the fairest way to compare yourself with friends: send them a screenshot and see who flew further.
How it plays
It plays like any themed mission: 25 seconds a prompt, one answer each, rarer right answers fly further. The difference is what counts. Your first finished run of the day is the one that goes on the day's board and pays its rewards. You can play again afterwards for fun, but replays don't change your result. If you reload the page in the middle, that run is thrown away and the next one you finish counts instead.
Once your run for the day is done, you can see the full answer lists for those prompts and find out what you missed.
Making the most of it
Because there's only one run that counts, it pays to treat it a little more carefully than an ordinary mission. Use the whole clock, skip your first instinct when it's the obvious answer, and don't gamble on a rare guess you aren't sure of. After your run, the end screen shows a curve of everyone's scores for the day with your place on it, so you can see whether a 300 point day was good or just average. It also counts towards your day streak, like any other mission.
Who it's for
Anyone who likes a daily habit, the way people do a daily word puzzle. It only takes a few minutes, and it's on the home screen as TODAY'S MISSION. If one mission a day isn't enough, carry on with themed missions or Open Orbit. New to the game? Read how to play first.
